Rules - Season 0

Discord Rules

0. DISCORD is MANDATORY, it's fun, it's friendly and very VERY useful to communicate.
1. use your BGA Nickname ! it's easy to change when clicking on your profile and go to "server profile" (yes you can have different nicknames in Discord)
2. obviously no hate speech, no politics/religion/pornography will be allowed. We're here to have fun between adults, let's keep it civil
3. admin announcements will use english, feel free to use the channel you want to speak in your language 😉   (if you need another channel don't hesitate to ask)

Play time

1. FDWC will use the clock in BGA to follow whether the drivers play on time or not.
2. If you run out of time, the race captain have to warn you ingame, sending a private message on BGA.
3. other players keep playing. Never quit a race if a player is out of time, that would cost you a DNF (did not finish).
4. if you plan on going on vacation, you need to warn the admin as soon as you know the dates you are away.
5. if you are on leave for several days, please say so in the chat to your fellow drivers, on a general and gentleman agreement we will wait for your return.
6. after two DNF because of absence, the admins have the right to ban the driver. We're all here to have fun.
7. race captain, with admin's approval, can pass the turn of a player that didn't give any headsup on a long leave

Schedule

1. we will use regional series at the start of FDWC to ensure games won't last too long.
2. there will be an All America's Series with USA / Canada and South America
3. there will be a European Series with all European countries (and UK ;-) ).. and all GMT+5/6 countries (to be verified).
4. after Season 0, we will mix Pro drivers (see below) from different regions into the World Championship.
5. races will generally start on a certain date, whether the race before ended or not. That will ensure seasons don't last too long.
6. schedule of a series may change depending on completion of races. It will be done at admin's discretion
7. in case your turns are passed on race 1, when race 2 start, you are allowed to start the race.
8. there will be Sprint Races (1 lap / 6 drivers), Trophy Races (2 laps / 8 drivers, the core of FDWC) and Endurances Races (3 laps / 10 drivers).
9. for season 0, only the Trophy Series will be used.
10. the 4 base tracks (Monaco, Race City, Nevada Ride, and 10th Anniversary) will be used for this first championship (schedule to be released when beta goes live).

Points / Level

1. race points are awarded depending on the series you're in, we will not use BGA points.
2. drivers getting a DNF score 0 (zero) points not matter the finish order calculated by BGA
3. in case of a tie in points at the end of the championship, winner is chosen by race wins (then second places, ..)
4. in season 0 at FDWC, we will start with 3 levels, based on the player registration (Rookies // Inter // Pro)
5. at the end of season 0, ranks are gonna change that way :

** promotions **

a) all rookies that had a full season goes Amateur.
b) a rookie who wins his series or get second spot goes directly to Inter
c) an inter who wins his series or get second spot goes to Semi Pro
